Scope Tickets is BICS's official ticketing partner for 2026/27
BICS now recommends Scope to college societies across Ireland. That means lower fees or money back to your society, free events that cost nothing, and a platform the next committee can pick up on day one.
We're delighted to announce that Scope Tickets is the official ticketing partner of BICS, the Board of Irish College Societies, for 2026/27. BICS now recommends Scope to societies, and the BICS Societies Programme is open to every society in a BICS member college.
More Students' Unions run their ticketing on Scope than on any other platform in Ireland. With BICS, we're bringing that same platform, on the same terms, to the societies behind so much of college life: the balls, table quizzes, trips, charity nights and Freshers' stands.
How we give back to societies
Our standard booking fee is 8% + 40c, paid by the member at checkout. Societies on Scope don't pay the standard rate. We give up a fifth of that fee, and you decide where it goes:
To your members: the fee drops to 6% + 40c, so every member pays less per ticket. On a €10 ticket, they pay €11.00.
To your society: members pay the standard 8% + 40c, and the difference comes back to the society as income you can spend or put towards a charity total. On a €10 ticket, that's an extra 20c for the society.
Either way, Scope earns the same 6% + 40c. For a society selling 300 tickets at €20, the second option means €120 back, on top of the €6,000 in ticket sales. As far as we know, no other ticketing platform in Ireland does this.
Free events are always free. Meet-ups, AGMs and tryouts carry no booking fee, and you still get a proper RSVP list, a capacity cap and door scanning.
What societies get
Everything from your phone. Member sign-ups, payments, the guest list and the door, all in one place the whole committee can see.
Sign-ups at the Freshers' stand. Students join and pay on a committee member's phone, and your events run off that same list for the rest of the year.
Money straight to the society. Ticket income goes to the society's own account about 36 hours after the event ends, with no one collecting it personally first. If your societies office manages your money, payouts can go to whichever account your college nominates.
The door runs off a phone. Scan people in as they arrive, with a live count of who's in, on any committee member's phone.
We handle support and refunds. Lost tickets, name changes and refunds come to our support team, whatever hour a member gets in touch. That's hours back in the week for your committee.
It survives handover. The account belongs to the society, not to whoever set it up. Next year's committee gets your events, event history and member list, instead of starting from scratch because the login left with the outgoing treasurer.
Your events on the SU site. If your college is already on Scope, your society's events appear on the SU events site automatically, right beside the union's own. Have a look at trinityents.com to see how it works. For larger societies, we'll build and host an events site on your own domain at our cost. Every society also gets a free branded link page for your social bios.
Double RevPoints. Members earn 2x RevPoints when they pay with Revolut Pay at checkout, at no cost to the society.
All of this is included on both pricing options. There's no upgrade tier and no extras charged separately. There's also no contract and no setup fee, and we'll pay €25 into your society's account after your first event.
Coming soon: UniPass
UniPass is our new app for student events, built around the campus each student actually attends. It shows everything happening this week in their college, from the societies they follow, with points on every ticket and offers from partner brands. Societies on Scope will be on UniPass from the day it launches, with every event they already have listed carried over.
